CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
awanaAWANA Ministry:
"Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" This is an exciting time for age 3 through 6th grade which meets each Sunday evening at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. during the school year. This incentive learning ministry is divided into three thirty minute segments. Scripture memorization, competitive game time on the AWANA game floor, and teaching of Biblical truths through Biblical stories.

Nursery:
Our nursery us located upstairs in the main floor just outside the sanctuary and the fellowship hall. It is well equipped with cribs, playpens, and changing tables and appropriate toys. It is a safe place serving birth through 3 years. At all times two people are serving to allow for emergency care and seeking parents if necessary. It is necessary to sign in your children advising any special needs. Worker registration is maintained to provide for safe environment and accountability. This provides and opportunity for parents to worship freely with an assurance of excellent care of the precious ones.

Vacation Bible School:
An annual event usually the first week of August designed to reach people of all ages, leading them to know and respond to Jesus Christ as led by the Holy Spirit. VBS is a fun-filled spiritual adventure that provides concentrated Bible study and encourages real life application. The primary elements of VBS include Bible study, worship, crafts, missions, snacks, music, and recreation. The one week event held nightly is climaxed by an awards night attended by parents, family members, and friends.

Children's Church (ages 4-8 years old):
The children to come to worship services in the sanctuary until special music is completed and prior to the message. They are dismissed by singing them to the fellowship hall. They have their own services which may include singing, drama, crafts, and a Bible lesson taught by the weekly leader. Biblical films are also used to encourage discussion and application of the lesson content.
